The Level 3 Apprenticeship which is set at A Level Standard, is ideal for all those who would like to further develop their L&D skills.

All apprentices who complete the Level 3 programme can gain a CIPD Foundation Certificate or Diploma in Learning and Development along with Associate Membership of the CIPD. 

All apprentices can study the following units: 

  • Becoming an Effective L&D Practitioner (3BEP) 
  • L&D and the Organisation (3LDO) 
  • Identifying L&D Needs (3LDN) 
  • Designing L&D (3DES) 
  • Delivering L&D (3DEL) 
  • Evaluating L&D (3ELD) 
  • Optional units (for Diploma)

We address the challenges associated with conventional L&D approaches through workshops and enhance the learning journey by providing candidates with mentors and coaches who guide them throughout the programme. Technology is used to support the learning experience on any device and at any time to provide a seamless, flexible learning experience








Programme Features

Our L&D Practitioner Level 3 Apprenticeship programme provides a blend of learning encompassing a combination of workshops, online meetings and 1-2-1 support with additional resources including webinars, workbooks and 24/7 access to our own Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The VLE includes engaging online videos from our tutors, workbooks and information to support assessments. Apprentices also have access to an E-portfolio which provides access to learning activities, a reflective journal and full tracking of off the job learning. Our extensive support also includes line manager advice and guidance.
