Implementing Your Apprenticeship Strategy

We have been in the Human Resources business for a very long time and have successfully supported countless HR practitioners through their CIPD learning journey. This knowledge and experience is used to maximum effect when collaborating with large organisations to deliver approved HR Apprenticeship schemes.

We work with cohorts of a minimum of ten people and can deliver to the full Apprenticeship standards not only to provide CIPD qualifications at levels 3 and 5 but also meeting the 20% off the job learning provision, functional skills, End Point Assessment (EPA) preparation and all of the ESFA government requirements in terms of monitoring and reporting.

Your apprentices will benefit from the very best industry facilitators, a planned programme of workshops, 24/7 access to our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), e-portfolio and other quality online materials, a dedicated account manager, administration team, and rigorous monitoring from start to finish.

Your line managers will be offered a range of support including: an overview of the content of each unit, objective setting, coaching techniques, conducting progress reviews and how to deliver feedback. All units are mapped against the approved Apprenticeship Standards.

The Process

STAGE 1

Initiation

Initial collaboration including familiarisation of client, apprentices selection, programme content, monitoring & auditing processes.

STAGE 2

Design

Programme content mapped to client’s requirements, programme design agreed, key programme success measures confirmed.

  • Line managers engaged and responsibilities established.

Programme development, activities, materials and support systems required.

Dates agreed for delivery, assessment, progression and communication.

Apprentice assessments and Individual Learning Needs (ILN) confirmed.

    Commitment statement and agreement signed.

STAGE 3

Launch

Your custom tailored apprenticeship programme is now ready to go. Delivery will be scheduled and the rest as they say is history.

Apprenticeships can be tailored to your company’s needs particularly if you have enough numbers – we ask for a minimum of ten apprentices for our HR programmes. We can then focus on the policies, cultures and values of the organisation.  In this way they are similar to the best graduate training programmes.

Our Apprenticeship Programmes

Watson Martin is approved as a Main Provider on the Register of Apprenticeship Training (RoATP) and is ideally placed to help your business develop and implement a comprehensive HR Apprenticeship strategy. We offer two Apprenticeship standards in HR – Level 3 and Level 5 – across England and Wales.

HR Apprenticeship Level 3

The Level 3 qualification is the academic equivalent of an A level, an ideal first professional qualification in HR. Aimed at employees who want a good grounding in the HR basics and have a supporting role in the team working with a line manager.

HR Apprenticeship Level 5

The Level 5 qualification which is set at the level of a University Foundation degree, is ideal for all those currently employed in advisory level roles who would like to further develop their HR management skills.
