Our current vacancies are:

Apprenticeship Tutor – Human Resource Management / Learning and Development

London or Regional Based, permanent, part-time

Circa £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (this is the full-time salary which will be pro-rated to hours worked – ideally 3 or 4 days per week, hours to be mutually agreed)

Watson Martin is a market leading centre for all levels of CIPD professional qualifications, delivering HR/L&D apprenticeships and in-company soft skills training.  Due to the continued growth of our apprenticeship programmes we are looking for an exceptional HR/L&D professional to help train and develop our apprentices.  We need you to bring their apprenticeship journey to life, drawing upon your industry knowledge and tutoring skills to provide excellent support and guidance.

Your main focus will be to support HR and L&D apprentices during their journey with us, which normally includes a CIPD qualification at either level 3 or level 5.

You will need to be confident with our blended learning approach delivering classroom-based workshops and using technology to manage webinar sessions.  You will be also be required to carry out 1-2-1 reviews.

We have forged close working relationships with our employers and achieved a high level of engagement with our apprentices’ line managers.  It is important that you are able to help us maintain these relationships whilst nurturing new business opportunities. We require:

  • Experience in delivering Human Resource Management and/or Learning and Development apprenticeships up to Level 5
  • An appropriate assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1, TAQA or CAVA)
  • Familiarity with Ofsted and ESFA audit requirements
  • CIPD qualified – desirable
  • Level 2 qualification in English & Mathematics
  • Proficiency in using eportfolio systems to communicate with and monitor progress of learners on apprenticeship programmes

Sales Executive

Raynes Park, London (currently home based)

Salary £27k-£33k per annum (depending on experience)

The Role

You will:

  • Work closely with the Management team and Marketing Consultant as part of our small sales team, understanding prospective candidates’ education level, commitments, motivations, needs, interests and goals so as to promote and sell relevant courses and qualifications.
  • Provide high quality information and excellent customer service to enable prospective candidates to make an informed choice regarding their preferred learning style and appropriate programme.
  • Play an important role in seeking out and developing our B2B offering to corporate clients. Identify new B2B opportunities including tenders, producing detailed quotations and proposals as required.
  • Take inbound calls, reply to email, make follow up calls to enquiries promptly. Update prospect leads using SalesForce on a daily basis
  • Ensure that monthly and annual Sales KPIs are met.
  • Maintain our excellent track record of converting leads to sales by maximising bookings and enrolments and through outstanding relationship building and management.
  • Contribute to developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy, plans and campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain an awareness of key competitors, their offerings and changes to the market in which the company operates.
  • Provide required management information in a timely manner.

Tutor – Human Resource Management / Learning and Development

London or Regional Based, permanent, full time or part-time

Circa £40,000- £45,000 per annum (this is the full-time salary which will be pro-rated to hours worked, hours to be mutually agreed)

Due to the continued growth of our business this year we are looking for an exceptional HR/L&D professional to provide support to our candidates and deliver level 3, 5 and 7 CIPD qualifications.

You will need to be confident with our blended learning approach.  You will be contributing to the development of course materials and deliver classroom-based workshops and/or use technology to deliver online sessions.   As well as providing 1:1 support for candidates, you will assess their work and provide regular, constructive feedback to aid their progression.

  • CIPD Chartered Member or Fellow is essential for this role

Apprenticeship Manager

London Based, permanent, full time

circa £40,000- £45,000 per annum 

We are looking for an Apprenticeship Manager with a true love for HR and learning, just like us! Your role will be to ensure our apprenticeship programmes are of the highest quality with outstanding achievement rates, whilst ensuring compliance with OFSTED and external body requirements and the Apprenticeship funding rules.

Due to the continued growth of our apprenticeship provision this year including the new Senior People Professional Level 7 apprenticeships, we are looking for an exceptional HR/L&D professional to lead and manage the delivery of our HR and L&D Apprenticeship programmes.

This is a pivotal role if you want to make a real difference at a time when our business is growing. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding learning opportunities for our Apprentices whilst drawing upon your experience of Apprenticeships to introduce innovative and new ways to ensure they are successful at EPA. We will also ask you to support a number of Apprentices as we feel this is the best way to understand their journey and ensure we maintain our excellent standards.

We require:

  • In depth knowledge of Apprenticeships and related external body requirements
  • Proven track record of managing a team
  • The ability to develop programme content and delivery methods that meet the requirements of the Apprenticeship standards
  • Confidence implementing effective quality assurance systems that meet the requirements of the CIPD and OFSTED and WM IQA standards.
  • Leadership of key accounts and contribution to developing new business opportunities.
  • Review of policies and procedures ensuring compliance with safeguarding, quality, funding and audit requirements
  • Previous delivery and assessment of Human Resource Management and/or Learning and Development qualifications at Level 3 and 5 or 7 is desirable
  • CIPD Chartered Member or Fellow is desirable for this role
