Our experience shows that more successful learning outcomes are achieved through understanding specific student needs as early as possible, so our experts will devise the right programme for you whilst offering a personalised service with as much flexibility as possible to ensure that the programme suits your study patterns.
Study high quality, bespoke learning at your own pace, anywhere, anytime with ongoing support from a personal adviser
We offer various study methods and will create one that specifically suits you. You will be assigned a personal adviser who supports you throughout your development and is your main point of contact during the programme.
Following induction, your first adviser session will focus on developing and agreeing an individual programme plan. Your adviser will provide direct one-to-one support and regular remote/virtual meetings at mutually convenient times using telephone, Skype, virtual classroom, email or through WebEx. He or she will encourage progression and provide guidance, feedback and coaching through the modules and undertake one-to-one online sessions with you throughout the programme.
Our approach to learning is best described as “do-review-learn-apply”, (based on the work of David Kolb 1984) which we describe as “Active Learning”. We use practical workplace experience as the basis for self-guided learning. We help you to identify academic thinking or CIPD research that underpins the learning, and where necessary undertake activities aimed at facilitating the practical application of knowledge in your workplace.
At its heart is a blend of learning, encompassing a combination of online meetings, with supporting resources including webinars, email, telephone and 24/7 access to our own Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The VLE includes engaging online videos, supporting animation, text documents, visuals, narration, and learning activities which are tracked and monitored. Checklists and practice quizzes will allow you to organise, rehearse, integrate, retrieve, and retain what you have learned.
