Are you looking to develop your HR career through an apprenticeship? Then Watson Martin’s upcoming HR level 5 apprenticeship programme could be just what you are looking for!
The programme kicks off in March and is aimed at individuals who want to develop their HR skills through an apprenticeship scheme. Open to apprentices from any levy paying organisation, individuals who join will work alongside candidates from a wide range of companies, providing a fantastic opportunity to network with others in the profession.
Now is the perfect time to apply for our March programme as the eligibility and selection process for any apprenticeship programme can take a few weeks. Apprentices who are accepted will have the opportunity to complete their Level 5 CIPD Certificate or Diploma leading to Associate membership within 18 months.
During this time they will be supported by 1:1 meetings with a personal adviser, attend workshops and webinars and have 24/7 access to a wealth of online materials on Watson Martin’s VLE. Other features include pastoral support, workbooks written by subject matter experts, regular reviews and online access to an Apprenticeship community network.
A RoATP provider since January 2018, Watson Martin has built up significant expertise in the apprenticeship market and successfully delivers HR and L&D programmes to cohorts from large organisations in the public, private and charitable sectors as well as in collaboration with other training providers. Our public apprenticeship programmes are ideal for companies that have HR and L&D apprentices to train but not in sufficient numbers to have their own in-house scheme.
“We are currently developing the HR and L&D skills of over 100 apprentices from many different organisations around the country,” explained Sharon White who leads the Watson Martin Apprenticeship business with Director Heather Watson.
“We know how to help employers and their apprentices manage the 20% off-the-job training in the most flexible way to suit their business. Our teaching and support systems have all been fine-tuned over time to ensure they are as user friendly and customer focused as possible. All this comes from experience of being in the apprenticeship business for some time.
“Our public programmes are a natural extension of our in-house apprenticeship schemes. They are a great way to help organisations utilise their levy and upskill small groups or individuals,” Sharon added.
