Congratulations to Ian Nicholas, Chief HR Officer with REED, who was recently listed on HR Magazine’s HR Most Influential List 2019 for his work on human capital management in the Support Services category.
A member of the global board of REED overseeing all group operations, Ian joined the company in 2004 as HRD of one of its businesses where he also set up a specialist HR recruitment arm. Since then his career has gone from strength to strength with positions including HRD for Reed Specialist Recruitment, MD for RSR Managed Services and in 2015 Chief Human Resources Officer.
Heather Watson, Director of Watson Martin, said:
“Watson Martin has worked in partnership with REED for over 15 years and so we are well aware of the impact Ian has had on their business. He has been a major driver of all people strategies across the company and was particularly influential in his support of the Trailblazer group that set up Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships for the recruitment industry. Having worked in the profession for 26 years, he is certainly a worthy recipient of this accolade.”
The UK-based list was set up in 2006 to recognise HR practitioners and academics that really make a difference to the industry.
Ian will be discussing How to be an HR Influencer in Watson Martin’s Learning Bites webinar in January. Look out for further information.
